Cuando la selección de fútbol de Israel gana un partido crucial y tiene la oportunidad de llegar a la Copa del Mundo, estos cuatro fanáticos del fútbol están decididos a no perderse el partido, incluso cuando se traslada a la cercana isla de Chipre. Inspirados en el viaje mitológico de Kon-Tiki, logran construir una balsa por su cuenta y cruzar el mar Mediterráneo en un intento de llegar a tiempo al fatídico partido. Durante su viaje de tres días, su amistad se pone a prueba, saborean el primer amor y descubren rasgos de carácter y habilidades en sí mismos que nunca supieron que tenían.
